Through this event we hope to promote the importance of manufacturing within the county as a key sector for future enterprise and careers and we sincerely believe we have helped to achieve this.”
Councillor Colin Davie, Executive Councillor for Development at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “We know Lincolnshire businesses make world-class products, and that’s a message we want to spread far and wide. These awards are a chance to shout about some of the great work taking place right on our doorstep, showcasing the best of the best. Hopefully, this will help raise awareness of all the county has to offer, bringing new opportunities for all involved.”
Garry Wilkinson, Senior Relationship Manager at NatWest Bank said: “Following the success of the Greater Lincolnshire Manufacturing Conference in March, we are delighted to co-sponsor the inaugural Made in Lincolnshire awards which showcases and celebrates the many fantastic manufacturing businesses that we have in Lincolnshire.
“There were many excellent entries and the quality of the applications made the task of judging a difficult one. NatWest remain passionate about supporting the manufacturing sector, which is a significant part of the UK economy and as demonstrated by these awards, an area that is strong within our county.”
