The Hilton wasn’t the only Lincoln business to receive a customer satisfaction accolade this week — a popular chip shop did too.
Burton Road Chippy gained the 2013 Certificate of Excellence from travel website TripAdvisor.
The is the first time the award-winning fish and chip shop has received the certificate, which is based on customer recommendations.
TripAdvisor only give this award to businesses maintaining four or five star ratings from customers, focusing on hospitality excellence.
Owner Lesley Graves said: “We were delighted to receive this award and appreciate our customers taking the time to give us their feedback.”
Previously, the chip shop and restaurant has received awards for the best chips both regionally and nationally, and the Best Quality award from the National Federation of Fish Friers.
