Lincoln’s sixth Costa coffee shop is ready to open on Saturday, June 8, just four weeks after the fifth Costa opened on the High Street.
The new shop, which has a unit in the Carlton Centre next to Argos, created 10 jobs in the local area, and all positions were filled using help from Lincoln Jobcentre.
Store manager Helen Burns said: “The unit had been empty for a while, it’s a prime position and the Carlton Centre is a really busy area now with some big shops here.
“What makes this Costa different is that it’s in a retail park, but the centre has its own feel to it. Such as today it’s really summery, so it almost has a holiday feel to it.
She added: “We’re going to be setting up a Costa in Valentine Retail Park next. There’s no solid date yet, but there’s definitely going to be one there in the next few months.”
